    The gardens face due south and are a suntrap throughout the year. In front of the house is a large, 7000-square foot (650 sqm), illuminated and irrigated lawn surrounded by mature trees and plants. A timber-framed pergola looks out over it, providing a lovely place for evening meals with uninterrupted and stunning views across the hills to snow capped Mt. Carega and the pre Alps, rising to 2259 metres, 7400 feet.

DESCRIPTION

Below the lawn, the land sweeps down through our field towards Lake Fimon, an hours gentle walk through vineyards and hornbeam woodland. The courtyard is bordered by a large 2-car garage with additional storage room, wood shed and workshop. Plenty of space to keep bikes, canoes, skis and all outdoor equipment that will help you enjoy all what the region has to offer. The garage roof has been tiled and can be used as a terrace.

We regularly grow our own vegetables, especially tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, salads and potatoes. The lawn border is filled with gooseberry and redcurrant bushes, wild fig and plum trees line the sloping field.
