COLLI BERICI WINE ZONE, VICENZA PROVINCE

The Colli Berici is a collection of hills that extend south of Vicenza for 24 kilometers, rising dramatically from sea level to a peak of 444 meters. Teeming with wildlife, covered in forestry, mainly Hornbeam, the Colli Berici are an outdoor-enthusiasts dream. Cycle paths, hiking trails, hidden osterie, organic farms and of course, vinyards.

There are four grape varieties that best express the Colli Berici: Tai Rosso, Cabernet, Merlot and Carmenere. Wines that express themselves even better when paired with our local traditional products such as Sopressa Vicentina and the Prosciutto Veneto Berico-Euganeo. Besides wine, there’s also grappa. Grappa is excellent as a “digestivo” but also as a wonderful companion for meditation!
