"di ferro é lo stilo, d'oro il tempo"

The story

Berici Hills, Arcugnano (VI)

The house dates back to the 1600’s and was renovated in the 1700’s, with much of the original stone still evident both outside and inside. For over 50 years it served as a local watering hole, first as l’Osteria Il Cacciatore, famous for it’s Sunday grills, card tables and bocce court and subsequently as an eclectic candle-lit dining experiment, La Busa De Bacco. In the mid 1990’s the dining licence was revoked, the owners left, and the building fell into disrepair.
